Covered Warranty Situations

During the applicable warranty period, RenewDrone provides free warranty service for the following quality-related issues that occur under normal use.

Drones

  • Unable to take off upon arrival – the drone cannot take off when first used after delivery. Screenshots or a video of the DJI Fly app (or the relevant DJI app for your device) showing the issue are required.
  • Gimbal malfunction
  • Battery not as described – the battery does not match the condition described by RenewDrone at the time of purchase (for example, a higher cycle count than listed, battery swelling, or failure to charge).
  • Damaged upon arrival – the drone is damaged when received, before any flight has been attempted.

Note: For drones damaged upon arrival, an unboxing video is required (see Unboxing Video Requirements below). Damage caused by human error is not covered under warranty.

Handheld Devices

  • Cracks on the camera lens
  • Blurry recording – footage remains blurry after the lens has been cleaned, any protective film has been removed, and the settings (such as focus, resolution, and stabilization) have been checked. Blurriness caused by a dirty or fogged lens, unremoved protective film, or improper settings is not covered.
  • Severe overheating – the device becomes abnormally hot, or shows an overheating warning, shortly after starting to record at low resolution in a normal-temperature environment. Heat generated during long, high-resolution recording or in hot environments is normal and not covered.
  • Unable to power on, or, for gimbal-equipped models, the gimbal does not rotate properly

Note: For handheld devices damaged upon arrival, an unboxing video is required (see Unboxing Video Requirements below). Damage caused by human error is not covered under warranty.

Unboxing Video Requirements

To claim warranty service for a product damaged upon arrival, you must submit an unboxing video that meets all of the following requirements:

  • The video starts from the unopened outer box and clearly shows the shipping label.
  • The video is continuous and unedited, with no cuts or interruptions.
  • The claim is submitted within 3 days of the delivery date.

Warranty service is provided in the form of repair or replacement. For eligible warranty claims, RenewDrone covers the round-trip shipping costs.
